Senate Resolution 60
We all recognize that significant changes have occurred over the past two decades that seriously impact our fire and emergency medical services. The SR60 report recommends ways to strengthen and maintain the voluntary delivery of fire and EMS services.
Bucks County is one of the first counties to address this issue. Now is the time for Fire and EMS leaders and representatives from State, County and Municipal government to work together with our legislature to influence legislation designed to meet our needs.
The first step is to understand the impact of these recommendations within our communities. Recommendations focus on five areas - policy consistent statutory requirements, administrative requirements, operational finance, benefits and incentives and operational. The contents of this packet will help guide you through the presentation.

Dr. William Jenaway, Chairman SR60 Commission
