Scarborough Elected as BCATO President
Tom Scarborough, of Doylestown Township, has been elected president of the Bucks County Association of Township Officials. He succeeds Raymond “Skip” Goodnoe, of Newtown Township, who did not seek reelection as supervisor.
Other officers elected were Chester Pogonowski, of Wrightstown Township, first vice president; Judith Algeo, of Warwick Township, second vice president; Eric Schaffausen, of Bedminster Township, treasurer; and Ann Marie Walsh, of Doylestown Township, secretary.
Three new board members were elected. Dan Worden, of Upper Makefield Township, and Dick Weaver, of Newtown Township, were elected directors and Pete Stainthrope, of Lower Makefield Township was elected as a delegate to the state convention.
Other directors named to another term were Kenneth Bennington, of Hilltown Township; Gerald Crandley, of Upper Southampton Township; Joseph DiGirolamo, of Bensalem Township; Manfred Marschewski, of Durham Township; and David Nyman, of East Rockhill Township. Remaining as delegates are Rebecca Kiefer, of Warrington Township; and Richard Luce, of Warminster Township.
Reappointed to their positions were Solicitor Terry Clemons and Executive Director Charles Metzger.
